Following their momentous reunion tour kick-off, Oasis has stormed back to No. 1 on the U.K.'s Official Albums Chart with compilation Time Flies… 1994-2009 . The album, first released in 2010, hit the No. 1 upon release and has been a mainstay on the charts ever since. Oasis plan huge £200k party after Wembley shows to celebrate success of first part of reunion tour with celebs pals
THERE may be a lack of cigarettes and alcohol on their tour rider. But that is not going to stop Noel and Liam Gallagher from throwing the ultimate bash in September to celebrate the completion of the first part of Oasis' reunion tour. 12 12 12 I have been told the band are planning to splash £200,000 on a huge party following their shows in London. The lads are set to kick off the first of their seven dates at Wembley Stadium this month. And following their final UK show in September, the band will be able to catch up with celebrity pals before heading to South Korea in October. A source told me: 'Liam and Noel are staying away from the booze and parties during the tour to protect their voices. 'They are looking forward to catching up with pals in September following the success of the tour. There will be no expense spared and guests with an invitation can expect to be given the VIP treatment.' On Friday, Oasis returned to Manchester for the first of five homecoming gigs. Man City fans Noel and Liam held hands as they came on stage at Heaton Park in front of 80,000 fans, then later paid tribute to the team's boss. Before performing D'You Know What I Mean?, Liam said: 'I'd like to dedicate this next tune to the greatest manager of all time, the one and only Pep Guardiola.' There was even a life-size cut-out of Pep in a Man City scarf on stage as the band performed. Before the gig, Pep posed with Liam's sons Gene and Lennon, Noel's daughter Anais and his teenage boys Donovan and Sonny. Pep Guardiola and stunning daughter Maria belt out Oasis classic as Man City boss parties with Gallagher family at gig Gene wrote: 'Pic of the century alright, now everyone else f*** off.' Pep's daughter Maria also posted a sweet vid with her arm around her dad, singing along to Don't Look Back In Anger as the sun set over Heaton Park. Elsewhere, celebrities including The 1975's Matty Healy, Radio 2 host Vernon Kay, and Happy Mondays singer Shaun Ryder, pictured with Corrie actor Andy Whyment, packed into the crowd in 30C heat. Fans unable to get their hands on tickets made the most of the night, singing along to Wonderwall and Little By Little on a hill outside the park. But those attempting to scale the fence to get in the stadium were stopped in their tracks. Footage on TikTok showed one fan climbing a ladder to get into the concert before being stopped by police. Greater Manchester Police confirmed six arrests were made, but the event passed without any serious incidents. While hogging the limelight with the huge shows, Oasis also have a monopoly on the Official Albums Chart. Their greatest hits compilation Time Flies . . . 1994-2009 is currently at No1, with albums What's The Story Morning Glory at No2 and Definitely Maybe at No4. Oasis summer is well and truly here to stay. BRANDS BATTLE LIAM and Noel are in a legal dispute with fashion chain Oasis. The rockers have applied to trademark the band's classic logo – with white writing and a black border – for a merch range including clothes, jewellery, toys and cards, computer games and cosmetics. But the application submitted to the Intellectual Property Office hit a snag, as the clothing company of the same name has officially opposed it. The brand, now owned by online retailer the Debenhams Group, has black writing and a white background. MAN City forward Jack Grealish had a good night watching the band. And he got emotional while talking about his love for the club afterwards. Stopping to chat to a fan in a Man City shirt, Jack, attending with partner Sasha Attwood, said: 'You know what? Bro, I love City more than anything. And do you know what I love more than anything? City fans. They're the best fans in the world.' His future at the club is still uncertain. Whatever happens Jack, don't look back in anger. LIAM'S ex-wife Patsy Kensit is recovering from a broken shoulder, after falling off a treadmill while training with a weighted backpack in the gym for Channel 4's Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. IT'S ELO AND GOODBYE FROM JEFF JEFF LYNNE was devastated last night after being forced to cancel ELO's last-ever live show due to illness. Tonight's farewell performance in London has been called off. The rockers were due on the Great Oak stage at Hyde Park's BST – for their final date on The Over and Out Tour. Fans were told in a statement: 'Jeff Lynne is heartbroken to report he will not be able to perform. 'He has been battling a systemic infection and is currently in the care of a team of doctors, who have advised him that performing is simply not possible at this time, nor will he be able to reschedule. 'The legacy of the band and his long-time fans are foremost in Jeff's mind. 'And while he is so sorry that he cannot perform, he knows he must focus on his health and rehabilitation at this time.' It comes days after the band also cancelled their gig at Manchester's Co-Op Arena on Thursday. Last month Jeff, 77, had to perform with a broken hand and was not able to play his guitar during their first night in Birmingham. He told the audience: 'You might be wondering, I have had a guitar in my hand my entire life, but I was riding in a taxi in London that slammed on its brakes to avoid an accident and I broke my hand.' He added: 'Don't worry, but nothing could keep me away from you.' The band formed in 1970 and their hits include Mr Blue Sky, Don't Bring Me Down and Evil Woman. Ticket holders were urged to head to the BST website for details about refunds. RADIO 1 host Dean McCullough has revealed he would love to team up with new presenter GK Barry. YouTuber GK joined the station in the weekend afternoon slot this month. 12 12 Dean, who does the weekday early breakfast show and became pals with GK on I'm A Celebrity last year, told Biz on Sunday: 'I miss having a co-host on Radio 1. 'I would love to do it with GK – she is so brave. But I think they would have to pull us off air after just one show because of the s**t we talk about.' I would 100 per cent tune in for that. TINIE'S THE BUSINESS AS DRAGON TINIE TEMPAH has become a new business backer on BBC series Dragons' Den. I am told the rapper, who is worth an estimated £7million, filmed episodes earlier this year and invested in three businesses. A source said: 'Tinie has had massive success in business and wanted to help start-ups from diverse backgrounds get into the game. 'Tinie loved hearing the stories of entrepreneurs on the show and learned a lot from the experience.' In 2021, he invested in software company Gener8 after its founder appeared in front of the Dragons. Aside from his rapping, Tinie founded the record label Disturbing London, publishing company Imhotep and men's fashion label What We Wear. Asked about his advice on starting a business, Tinie previously said: 'Do your research depending on what you want to do, research people who have done similar things, have a bit of confidence and just remember to network. 'Be social, be charismatic and work with people you would like to do business with.' Tinie, real name Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu Jr, rose to fame in 2010 with his debut single Pass Out topping the UK charts. He went on to have seven UK No1s and is due to release his latest single Eat It Up on Friday. He is also working on a campaign with the Night Time Industries Association called The Last Night Out, to protect the UK nightclub scene. It looks like Tinie has a busy year ahead. KATE FINDS SPOT FOR NEIL YOUNG KATE MOSS got into the festival spirit at British Summer Time in London's Hyde Park. The supermodel looked chic in a leopard-print maxi dress as she watched Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts in the capital. Kate was holding a beer as she walked around enjoying herself. She headed home before the end of the show on Friday night and was overheard praising a pal who came with her, saying: 'She's like my bodyguard.' Elsewhere, Dua Lipa and fiancé Callum Turner were seen cuddling at the festival.

Will Oasis make it to Wembley? Fans fear Gallagher feud could END £400m tour - with 'overwhelmed Noel and dominant Liam staying apart while bookies cash in on cancellation bets'
The Gallagher brothers' feud is one of the most iconic in music history. Since Oasis formed in 1991, Liam and Noel, aged 52 and 58 respectively, have caused controversy with their hedonism, iconic showbiz wars and raucous on-stage presence - all prior to their acrimionious split in 2009, which left fans bereft. After years of public animosity, Oasis lovers were overjoyed last year when they put their differences aside for a £400m, 41 date reunion tour, which kicked off in Cardiff last week ahead of shows in UK, Ireland, Australia, the US and Mexico. Despite delight over the return, concerns have arose among superfans that the warring siblings may not make it to their upcoming gigs - including Wembley later this month - thanks to seemingly dominant behaviour, different hotel stays and more. Fans, some of whom scandalously spent thousands on tickets, have taken to social media to voice their concerns over the band making it to their own dates, while bookies' have also been taking bets on the likelihood of cancellation. All does not appear to be lost however, as Liam has shown his dedication by vowing to stay sober for the duration of the tour while 'military style' contingency plans have been laid to keep the duo separated while off-stage. Meanwhile, the pair's body language on-stage has been considered by experts to show Noel looks 'overwhelmed' while Liam remains the 'dominant' presence. FANS' FEARS Fans voiced their concerns on X, with many hypothesising the tour would not see its end due to the brothers' feelings towards one another. Users took to the site to pen: 'Please finish the tour without fighting... The tour will be lucky to finish all dates [mark my words]... 'They still hate each other... Bet they don't finish the tour... It's not Oasis though, it's the Liam and Noel show. I bet they don't finish the tour.' KEEP AWAY It has been reported that lengths have been taken to ensure the pair remain amiable - by working to keep them separate while not performing. The Gallaghers will reportedly be kept apart when not on stage in a 'military style operation' during their much-anticipated reunion tour. There will be separate dressing rooms and transport to avoid a clash and resulting 'PR and financial nightmare'. Fans voiced their concerns on X, with many hypothesising the tour would not see its end due to the brothers' feelings towards one another BODY LANGUAGE Following Friday's opening gig in Cardiff, body language expert Judi James spoke exclusively to MailOnline about the duo's on-stage presence. Analysing the on-stage reunion, Judi stated that Liam was the 'dominant' one who was 'firmly in control', 'instigating all the action' as he led them on stage. Despite Liam proudly 'presenting' his brother to the audience with an air of confidence, contrastingly, Judi observes, Noel appeared somewhat more trepidatious, suggesting he was 'overwhelmed by the emotion of the moment.' She told MailOnline: 'It's the body language details that are so important to the fans here as the Gallagher narrative arc is displayed to a breathless nation. 'The walk-out ritual signals unity of course but the status and instigation signals are important. The glorious monochrome back view photo is intended to allow us to share the experience and see what they were seeing.' Of Liam's behaviour, she explained: 'What we do see is Liam very firmly in control, instigating all the action. His arm is around Noel's shoulders as though he's the more dominant brother and as though he's the one finally leading his brother back out to an adoring audience. 'His maracas are held high in a signal of celebratory victory and they even form a V-shape to add to that message of victory. 'When they hold raised hands it's actually Liam grabbing his brother's wrist and holding it up, again as though presenting him proudly to the fans.' Commenting on Noel's conduct in comparison, Judi explained: 'Noel cuts a very different figure here. Walking with his arms down at his sides, almost like a small child, his lip-clamp and his lowered eyes suggest he is overwhelmed by the emotion of the moment.' OODS ON Bookmakers William Hill have led the way in taking bets on whether the brothers will manage to complete the tour. The website lists: 'The stage is set and all eyes will be on the Principality Stadium for the opening night of the Oasis Live '25 reunion tour but will the band manage to stick together for the entire run of concerts? 'Punters expecting a clash between the Gallaghers can back the tour to end before the final 2025 date, scheduled for 23rd November in Sao Paolo, Brazil, at 4/1. Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: 'Whether Liam and Noel can keep their tempers in check in the coming months remains to be seen, and we're 4/1 that they call time on their reunion before the final 2025 tour date in November. 'However, the 1/6 about Oasis playing together next year suggests this reunion could be more than a short-term project.' DEDICATION Despite concerns, the group do however appear determined to keep things running smoothly with sights to concluding the tour. It was revealed prior to the tour kicking off that Liam is planning not to booze during the shows after previously admitting he stopped drinking on stage after his erratic performance with Oasis at Wembley in 2000. A source told The Sun: 'Liam's just returned from a boozy holiday and now plans to be in lock-down for the foreseeable to focus on getting fit for the tour. 'He is planning on being sober ahead of and on tour with Oasis. He's actually used cutting out booze to help him prepare and also to get through the shows before.' As well as his focus on sobriety, the brothers spoke ambitiously about their capabilities while announcing the industry-shattering comeback. In the video, which was released last year, Liam said: When we both come together, you have greatness', while Noel sweetly stated:'I know my brother better than anybody else. This is it, this is happening.' Despite their feud, sources claimed in PJ Harrison's book In The Fall And Rise Of Oasis that the brothers 'still really love each other'. An insider also added that Liam was the one that made peace with Noel, explaining: 'He's a great one for making, you know, peace. He's the one that will make the peace and bring things back together with people.' In a post on X when he was asked who called first him or Noel, Liam replied: 'I called him but don't tell anyone as I don't want folk thinking I'm a soft lad and stuffs keep it between me n you cheers x.' Representatives declined to comment when approached by MailOnline.

Oasis take over UK charts as reunion tour hits Manchester
One week after the first show of their long-awaited reunion tour, and ahead of their first home town shows in Manchester this weekend, Oasis are taking over the UK charts. The band have placed three albums in the UK Top 5. Singles compilation Time Flies… 1994–2009 is No 1 for the first time since it was released in June 2010. Their second album, 1995's (What's the Story) Morning Glory? rises 12 places to No 2, and their 1994 debut album Definitely Maybe jumps 22 spots to No 4. In the singles chart, Acquiesce – originally the B-side to their first No 1 single, 1995's Some Might Say, peaks at No 17 after making its stand-alone chart debut at No 40 last week. Acquiesce is the second song performed in full on their current tour set list, after the instrumental introduction Fuckin' in the Bushes and Hello. With the lyrics 'Because we need one another / We believe in one another', it has been adopted by fans as an anthem of fraternal love between Liam and Noel Gallagher, despite Noel disagreeing with the interpretation. The 1996 No 1 single Don't Look Back in Anger reaches No 18, though hasn't yet surpassed its most recent peak of No 9 last September, soon after the reunion was announced. It also spent seven weeks in the chart in 2017 after being adopted as the unofficial anthem of Manchester in the wake of the terrorist attack on an Ariana Grande concert in the city that May. When Oasis perform the song on the current tour, the stage visuals feature yellow bumblebees in tribute to the city's worker bee symbol. Live Forever, which also lingered on the chart in the wake of the reunion news, rises to No 19. After two nights in Cardiff last weekend, Oasis are set to perform five nights at Heaton Park in Manchester from tonight (11 July). Temperatures are expected to reach 31C on night one, prompting organisers to share a weather warning for the first outdoor show of the tour. Rules on bringing bottles into the ground have been relaxed, with ticketholders now permitted to carry 500ml of water in a sealed bottle and up to 200ml of sun cream. Oasis posted: 'Wear a (bucket) hat. Where possible stay in shade. Look after yourself and look after each other.' Fans without tickets have been warned against attempting to get in for the sold-out shows after TikTok users claimed you could enter the park by swimming. As in Cardiff last weekend, the city has been overrun by international visitors, with pubs, shops and even tattoo parlours reporting an uptick in business, while Liam Gallagher has voiced new announcements for the tram route that will take fans to the gig. It is unlikely that fans will be disappointed: the first night of Cardiff earned unilateral five-star reviews in the British press. The Guardian's Alexis Petridis called it 'a triumph'.

Kind-hearted Noel Gallagher's secret Oasis reunion tour gesture revealed as star bags millions from epic comeback
NOEL GALLAGHER has proved once again why he's one of the nicest men in music. I'm told the kind Oasis rocker is giving a sizeable portion of money he makes from the group's reunion tour to charity. 2 Noel Gallagher is said to be donating thousands of pounds to the Teenage Cancer Trust Credit: PA 2 He is set to play Heaton Park in Manchester with brother Liam Gallagher Credit: PA Noel is said to be donating thousands of pounds to the Teenage Cancer Trust – a cause which is close to his heart. The Britpop legend was one of the first ambassadors for the charity, and has played a number of gigs to help support it over the years. He's previously put up all sorts of gifts and gestures, from signed guitars to creating a limited- edition pair of Adidas trainers to auction off. A source said: 'It's no secret that Noel and Liam are both making millions from the reunion tour. "But Noel is actually giving some of his cash away. 'He's made it clear a large donation will be heading to Teenage Cancer Trust from his share of the proceeds.' Fans heading to Heaton Park in Manchester tonight are going to be in for a treat, too, as Noel and Liam have set up record-breaking giant screens to give punters at the back a good view. The monitors are 20 metres bigger than the ones they used in Cardiff, and the largest used by an artist in the UK. It's going to be incredible.
